Our commitment

Solution Gear Co. wants every customer to be able to reach us, request a quote, and read about our work, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We build and maintain this website with accessibility in mind and we improve it as we find gaps.

What we have done

• Every page uses clear heading structure so screen readers can move through the content in order.
• All photographs of our gearbox and gear repair work carry descriptive alternative text.
• Color choices are tested for readable contrast against their backgrounds.
• The site works with the keyboard alone, including the navigation menu and the quote forms.
• Forms have visible labels and clear error and confirmation messages.
• Animations respect the reduce motion setting in your operating system and browser.

Standards we aim for

We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA as our target. Accessibility is ongoing, not a one time task, so we review the site as we add pages and content.
